What is that…..???How can i do that???
I just got a compute router (dynex wireless g) and im supposed to encrypt it. what is that and how do i do it???
i bought it in best buy and they had offered to do it for us but i didnt want to (like 0 dollars just to do that!!!)
how can i do that myself???

You have to access the administration panel (probably by opening a browser and going to http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.1.1 and going to the security section and enabling WEP or WPA (WPA is preferable). There should also probably be some sort of "Wizard" or easy walk through mode where it asks you questions and you answer them, thereby setting up your computer. Make sure you don’t lose your password!
im afraid i dont know how you can do it, but i can define ‘encryption’.
to encrypt something is to encode it into a special type of data so that it can be decoded and read only after it has passed through a ‘decryptor’ which decodes the information that has been encoded, or ENCRYPTED by the ‘encryptor’.
this is done to protect the information from being read, deleted, edited and so on..
