Solid State Drives are great. It is almost like a usb drive instead of a spinning hard drive.
Some benefits are:
•Less Power Usage
•Faster Data Access
•Higher Reliability
•No Moviing Parts

Hard drives all have moving / spinning discs inside. And everything with moving parts at one point WILL FAIL! Solid state is kinda like a USB hard drive, NO MOVING PARTS. So it’s much much more expensive. I’d get the largest one you could afford.
Good luck
It does exactly the same as a standard hard drive. However because it is solid state similar to a pen drive it has no moving parts. It’s much faster in loading data, cooler and silent. The 80 Gb obviously holds twice as much as the 40Gb.
