I got a second hand Panasonic Toughbook CF-48 as a gift. I know nothing of laptops or this kind of laptop. Here are my questions:
1). Is this a good type?
2). It has Windows Pro on it, is that a good program? It has 128 MB, 10 GB, and 700 MHZ, are any of those good?
3). I want to play computer games on it and get online. I have DSL, will that work with this kind of laptop?
4). If I want to increase the memory, do I get a memory card at a store (like Best Buy), or will I have to order one online?
5). Do wireless internet card work with these laptops?
6). If I want to upgrade my program to Windows XP or Vista, will I be able to on this kind of laptop?
7). Will I be able to buy a new battery for it in the store, or do I order one online?
8). When will I have to replace the battery? If I use it at home plugged in, is that okay? Or am I supposed to unplug once it is charged?
Sorry for so many questions. I am very anxious about having a laptop. I’m excited, yet clueless

i bought a plasma tv yesterday but i couldnt connect to my internet ( time warner) the things i am pretty far away from the modem so it can reach the signal from my room , when i connect in my laptop sometimes the signal is low or very low . so i got a usb to get better signal but the problem still it can reach the signal so my brother suggested me to get a stronger modem in that way my tv plasma might reach the signal. so can u suggest a stronger modem or a better usb plezz? I will appreciate it

I have a toshiba satellite A505 series laptop. I want to hook it up to my Panasonic home theater system and i thought that with the HDMI cable i use for the tv would work the same if i hooked it up to the surround sound but it does not work. There was no sound coming out of my surround sound at all. Hope this is enough info for your help. Please let me know if you can help. Thanks

Okay, so when I insert my MiniDVD from my new Panasonic camcorder that I received for Christmas into my laptop (running WindowsXP), go into MyComputer, and click on the drive where the disk is, the MyComputer screen ALWAYS tends to freeze up. Almost like it is trying to read the disk, but can’t find any information on it or something. The disk brand is TDK and the package says MINI DVD-R. I’m not sure what it is. Does anybody know what may be causing this? Also, my camcorder won’t let me delete the movies that I have recorded on the disks. If I insert the disks into my laptop (if I can get it not to freeze!), can I delete the videos from there? Thanks for reading!

I want to put my laptop into my car i already have a double din panasonic strada stereo. My laptop has a vga out, s video out and HDMI out my stereo has RCA in. I hook my audio to the red and white RCA to the stereo thats no problem, my problem is when i hook the s video out to the video in on my stereo. It works but the quality that shows up on the car stereo is very poor. I’m at 640×480 resolution on the laptop. Would it make any difference if i used the VGA out to video in? or any other suggestions to bring the quality on the car stereo up?

I am having trouble connecting my laptop to my panasonic television.
I am using an s-video cable. The problem is there is an image displayed but unfortunately its black and white.

I am using the aforementioned geforce 7950 gtx
on a Dell xps m1710 using windows xp

Any idea why is this happening?

We’re trying to use an sVGA to component cable to hook up my Dell Inspiron E705 laptop to a Panasonic CT27E13. An image is visible, but it’s reading as a second monitor (rather than simply projecting the laptop’s screen to the TV) and is divided into three identical static-y columns. What can we do to make this thing work? A picture of what the screens look like when hooked together is available upon request.
The information I’ve found thus far has told me to adjust the resolution and aspect ratio- the TV and the laptop, as far as I can tell, do match.

I have an older Panasonic Receiver that does not have a remote. The only way to adjust some of the features is by using the remote control. Is there a program for a laptop with an IR port to use with my receiver?
