Hello everyone! I tried to search the site for the answer of my question but I couldn’t find one. Can you help me in determining what is the recommended duration of using an Acer Aspire 2920z or any other laptops? Coz I’ve been using my new laptop for like 12-18 hours everyday. I don’t want to wreck it or something. Please help me.

And also, I’m using the main power supply while using my laptop, should I take off my batteries?

I’ve been searching for webcams online and in stores and it seems that the only ones available can only be used with either a laptop or desktop computer, not both. Or is there? if so, any certain brands?

The old password has expired and I can’t put it a new one until I put the old one in. I bought it used from a company and I contacted them and they said they don’t put passwords on them but there was one that was on there and I just bypassed it when using it. Now it is gone and I can’t get on. It is on Windows 2000.

I’m not that smart when it comes to this sort of thing. Heres my story, I received a used laptop from my dads workplace that isn’t being used anymore. It’s a Dell Latitude C640 Windows Xp Professional. I want to reformat or wipe the laptop of all its memory to get by the login screen which requires a username and password. Unfortunately we aren’t allowed to ask the workplace for the login username and password. I’ve read that you need a Boot CD to reformat but again…I also have no CD-Rom drive being because it’s a bit of an old laptop but it does have a floppy disk drive. Does anyone have any suggestions? I’d like an answer A.S.A.P if possible.
Good news, my dad brought home a different laptop thats the same with a CD-Drive in it, I’ve replaced the floppy drive on my laptop with the CD-Drive (the one my dad brought containing the CD-Drive had a cracked screen, missing keys, dead battery) Can anyone give me a link or some steps on getting a boot up disk?
