well i wanted to buy a laptop or net-book and get a discount on it…..
also, i wanted to buy software like Microsoft Office 2007
and InDesign and Photoshop….

I was going to go to indianapolis university or purdue and they have discount on laptops and computers that are normally retailed at 1300+ on the dell website but i wanna know what the student discount would be.
I will be using the mac for a variety of things including Video-editing,Photo-editing and gaming,Not on demanding games though.
Im just trying to figure out if its worth ,600 asking price(student discount).
It has alot of great features and software for the mac but yet I looked at some Dell studio 15 laptops,0 dollar price difference and seems to have the same specs.
But It can’t run logic Studio and programs like considering they are Mac software.
I can’t decide which is the better deal,Help?
I will be getting a laptop soon. A windows media player 2005.Dell E1505. With all the media buttons and everythinglike it comes with. It said i can upgrade to vista free or with a discount. My laptop will mainly be used for media. Music/movies/photos. Should i still upgrade to vista??I mean even though i need a media player laptop. PLEASE HELP!!!!!
